- Years 2001-2007 In order to replace the power window switch panel of the Mini Cooper, you need to pry it with an object so that the lower covering of the central dashboard panel can be completely detached. Here, you will be able to locate the switch panel, which needs to be removed from its housing by disconnecting the connector inside. After removing the old switch panel, you can insert the new one into its slot, connecting its connector at the back, and then cover everything with the panel.
