In this video, learn how to open the bonnet of your Mini even when the cables do not release the catches. One of the clips only releases, so the bonnet does not open. If you try to pull the cable from the side where the bonnet is stuck, you won't hear the typical sound of the bonnet being released. Try pulling it manually from the hole in the wheel arch. To solve the problem, instead of replacing the cable, add a small spacer, like a nylon washer, which can be inserted from the front by making a small cut, without disassembling anything. With this small cut, place it on the head of the cable, which will gain a small thickness, allowing the cable to open normally.
