Restoring the oil light in the Mini Cooper

Model: Mini Mini R56, R57, R55 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Service warning light

Before proceeding, make sure that the oil level in the engine is adequate and that there are no oil pressure issues. If there is a real problem with the oil system, it is essential to resolve it before performing the oil light reset. Here's how you can try to reset the oil light in the Mini Cooper: Make sure the car is turned off and the key is removed from the ignition. Press and hold the reset button for the partial mileage indicator (or "Trip" button) located on the instrument panel. While holding down the reset button, insert the key into the ignition (without turning it) and turn the key to the "ON" position (without starting the engine). Some models may require you to press the start/stop button without starting the engine. Continue to hold down the reset button for a few seconds or until the oil light starts flashing or resets. Release the reset button and turn off the ignition. Restart the engine to ensure that the oil light does not come on again.

How to Install Roof Bars on a Fiat 500L

Learn how to fit universal roof bars on a Fiat 500L. These bars are used on vehicles with or without roof rails. Assemble the roof bar kit (as shown in the video) with bars adjusted to the width of the vehicle (measure with a tape measure). Position the brackets at both ends of the doors on the vehicle's original roof rails. Once the anchoring bracket width is set, tighten the bolts with a butterfly nut (if a lock is present) until fully secured to the roof rails. Fit safety caps on both sides.
