Model: Mini Mini R56, R55, R57 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Door panel
Operation: Disassembly and assembly of the door panel

To disassemble the door panel, you start by removing the clip at the bottom of the round cap in the center of the panel. Then remove the cap by levering it all around. Then the courtesy light under the panel is removed by extracting the lamp holder and uncoupling the electric cables. At this point, the clips around the perimeter of the panel must be released. Now remove the rear-view mirror control button and the speaker cover. At this point you need to remove the molding on the upper side of the door and the two plugs at the bottom of the panel. Operate the glass making it rise by a few centimeters. Unscrew the screws enclosed in the holes from where you have just removed the caps, taking care to hold the glass which you will then remove by sliding it from the top. Disconnect the electrical connectors by squeezing or twisting the retaining tabs. Unhook the armrest in the center of the panel. Unscrew the screws all around the panel removing also the rubber protectors at the top end of the door. Remove the screws from the aluminum bar at the top of the panel and remove the panel by unhooking the door opening cable from the handle last. To reassemble the panel, carry out the same operations in reverse, ie inserting the panel and hooking the door opening cable. Align everything and insert the screws first in the upper part of the door then all around the panel. Insert the glass, the external molding and then refit the speaker hood with the mirror button. Refit the external part of the panel plus the courtesy light and the round molding.
