How to replace TPMS sensors on a tire with minimal tools
Model: Mini Mini Various
In this video we see how to replace the TMPS sensor of a tire, without having large equipment, but with very minimal tools. The first thing to do is to remove the wheel, then we must release all the air from the tire, pressing with a screwdriver on the valve. Once all the air is out, we take the jack and a piece of wood and place the wheel under the car: this way we will remove the tire from the rim (low profile tires and those for trucks have a much stronger sidewall and will be more difficult). Now that the tire is free, we locate the sensor and remove it; some cars also have bolts from the inside, but most are mounted only on the stem. When the sensor is free, be careful not to drop it into the wheel because then it will be difficult to recover it. Now is the time to install the new sensors: we can find them for example on Amazon with the code B07V6YRFXG at a price of 26.55 euros each, free delivery for Prime customers. We position it inside the wheel and close it with its locknut. A spray of EDE-40 will make the tire adhere better to the rim. Now we inflate the tire, following the manufacturer's instructions. Now that we have put the vehicle back on the ground we need to initialize the sensor using an OBD reader: each of the sensors is numbered and the reader is looking for them, and will assign the new sensor to the position of the old one. If the sensor you are replacing has the same weight as the old one, there will be no need to rebalance the tires. The youtuber wants to point out that it is also possible to change the battery of the old sensor, but he preferred to change it because he had already traveled too many kilometers with the old one.

How to Remove the Front Shock Absorber on a Peugeot 406
How to remove the front shock absorber on a Peugeot 406? The first step is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts (engine bay), lift the car on a column lift and remove the front wheel. Unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts at the wheel hub (detach the brake line clips with a screwdriver). Unscrew the bolts on the side, then remove the shock absorber from its housing (place a support under the bar). Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation. Fit the new shock absorber to the car, working in reverse order. by ScegliAuto More videos
