Replacement of the Mini Supercharged battery

Model: Mini Mini R57, R55, R56 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Battery

If the battery of the Mini Supercharged is discharged and does not react to subsequent attempts to recharge it, we must proceed to replace it. We will not find the battery in the engine compartment like the other versions, but we will find it in the rear trunk under the support panel that we can remove with the help of a flathead screwdriver. Using a 10mm socket wrench, we unscrew the negative terminal clamp first and the positive terminal afterwards. Using the same wrench, we unscrew the fixing bracket, remove the vent tube, and remove the plastic pad that helps secure the battery in its housing. We remove the old battery and replace it with a new one, insert the vent tube, put the pad back, screw the fixing bracket, connect the two terminals, starting with the positive one, and put the support panel back in place.

How to Remove the CV Boot on Fiat Panda

Let’s see how to remove the boot from the joint on a Fiat Panda. After positioning your car on a column lift: raise it to a comfortable height to work on, loosen the wheel nuts (using a socket wrench or air drill) and remove the wheel. Begin unscrewing the brake disc bolts with a socket wrench. Remove the bolts located under the disc and completely detach the wheel hub. Pull the arm around the joint with your hands. Fit the new boot (after removing the old one) onto the constant velocity joint, then start reassembling all the parts in reverse order.
