Where is the fuse box located in the 2016 Mini Cooper?

Model: Mini Mini Countryman1, R60 - Years 2010-2016
Part: Fuse box

The 2016 Mini Cooper has two fuse boxes inside. The first fuse box is located inside the cabin, at the bottom of the passenger side glove compartment. The second fuse box is located inside the engine compartment, near the battery. Under the cover of the fuse boxes, there is a diagram with the name or number and amperage of each fuse, making it easier to identify the burnt fuse and replace it with a similar one. It is important to replace a fuse with one of the same amperage, as using the wrong amperage could cause the component to fail completely.
