Cleaning the MAF sensor of the Mini Cooper R56.

Model: Mini Mini R56, R57, R55 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Checks and maintenance

If the Mini Cooper S shows irregular power delivery, we can try cleaning the MAF sensor, which may be the cause of the malfunction. Open the hood of the engine compartment, find the sensor mounted on the tube in front of the filter box, disconnect the connector, unscrew the two screws holding it to the flange with a torx key, loosen the clamp with a screwdriver and remove the inlet pipe. This way, we can remove the sensor and clean it with a specific spray, wait for the product to dry and reassemble the MAF by reversing the operations.
