In this guide, you will discover how to manually reset the oil light on the instrument cluster of your Mini Cooper. First, reach the driver's seat and turn on the ignition.

Then locate the "Trip" button to the right of the display and hold it down for a few seconds until a new icon appears. At this point, scroll through the various menu options by pressing the button at the end of the left steering column stalk multiple times.

Once you see the engine oil icon, press and hold the same button and release it once the oil light reset is complete.
