To replace the heater core in the Mitsubishi Colt Plus, you need to completely disassemble the dashboard: start by removing the steering wheel airbag by unscrewing the rear screws, then remove the steering wheel by loosening the central nut. Next, detach the plastic covers around the radio and climate control, which can be removed by disconnecting the connectors at the back. Then proceed to remove the glove compartment and any remaining plastic covers to access the components inside. This way, you can pull out the heater core by disconnecting it from the various hoses and connectors, allowing you to insert a new one.
