Replacing the Steering Wheel Airbag on Mitsubishi Pajero

Model: Mitsubishi Pajero MK 3, V60 - Years 1999-2006

To begin, lift the bonnet and disconnect the battery by unscrewing the two terminals (negative first). Now move to the steering wheel: unscrew the two side screws located at the back of the wheel, as clearly shown in the video. Rotate the steering wheel and remove the plastic cover on the underside if you want to see how the screws hold the wheel in place. Once they are sufficiently loosened, you can pull the airbag from the steering wheel. It will come out easily from its housing. For reassembly, proceed in reverse: place the steering wheel back in position and screw in the two screws. Nothing could be easier! Good luck!
