The video shows us how to replace the pollen filter in a Mitsubishi Colt 1.1. First of all we are shown the position where we will find the filter to be replaced, i.e. under the dashboard on the passenger side. After opening the dashboard, we will have to remove it using a torx screwdriver, in this way we will have visibility of the area in which to work. Once the dashboard has been removed with a screwdriver, we can immediately locate the black box containing the filter to be replaced. At this point it will be necessary to remove the cover and manually extract the filter. Subsequently, the new filter can be inserted, making sure that the direction in which it is inserted is correct. Finally it will be necessary to close the box by repositioning the cover and proceed with the reassembly of the dashboard.

You do not need any diagnostic tools and will be able to complete the whole procedure without any difficulty. First, go inside the car and make sure it is completely turned off. Then keep the accelerator pedal pressed and at the same time press the brake pedal six times consecutively. When finished, keep both pedals pressed and turn on the ignition. Press the brake pedal again six more times and keep both pedals depressed for approximately 50 seconds. Turn off the ignition. Release the brake pedal and hold the accelerator pedal for another 50 seconds to complete the procedure.
