How to Reset the Service Light on a Mitsubishi Outlander

To reset the service light on a Mitsubishi Outlander, keep the vehicle's instrument cluster off. Press the button to the right of the odometer until the spanner symbol appears on the instrument cluster. Hold the same button until the spanner starts flashing, then release the button and press it again to display "clear" on the instrument cluster with the new mileage. At this point, you can turn on the instrument cluster, start the engine, and check that the spanner light does not illuminate on the display.
