To change the motor oil of a Moto Guzzi California, start by warming up the engine for a few minutes to make the oil more fluid and facilitate drainage. Turn off the engine and place the motorcycle on a center stand to keep it stable. Locate the oil drain plug under the engine and position a suitable container underneath it to collect the used oil. Using an appropriate wrench, unscrew the drain plug and let the oil drain completely into the container. Once the oil is fully drained, clean the drain plug and the drain hole with a clean cloth, then securely screw the plug back in. Remove the oil fill cap located on the top of the engine and pour in the new oil using a funnel to avoid spills. Make sure to use the type and amount of oil recommended by the owner's manual. After filling the oil, replace the fill cap, start the engine and let it run for a few minutes, then turn it off and check the oil level with the dipstick, adding more oil if necessary.
