How to open the front bonnet of your car? In this video, learn how to perform maintenance on a Nissan Qashqai. In most cars, the front bonnet opens by pulling the lever located inside the car, as in our case. Open the driver's door, pull the plastic lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard. Once the lever is pulled, move the lever under the bonnet (with your fingers) to lift the car's bonnet (as shown in the video) and secure it with the metal stay. To close the bonnet, simply lower it from a relatively low height to avoid damaging the car.
