How to Open the Bonnet of a Nissan Qashqai

Before you can start, sit in the driver's seat of your Nissan Qashqai. Begin by gently pulling towards you the lever located at the bottom left of the steering column. This will partially open the bonnet. At this point, exit your Nissan Qashqai and head to the front of the vehicle. In the gap that has formed, there is a small internal latch that you need to release. Once you have released that latch, you can lift the bonnet and secure it in position with the prop rod, completing the task.
