How to Reset the Nissan CVT Transmission

In this video, we will see a reset procedure for the Nissan CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). However, there are some warnings: do not do this if the CVT is already broken, as it is not magic, just a recalibration. After the reset, drive with gradual accelerations for about 100 miles. Then: turn on the car (without starting the engine, just the ignition) and press the accelerator pedal fully for ten seconds. Turn off the car, but without lifting your foot from the accelerator. Wait 3 seconds. Release the accelerator. Start the engine and wait twenty minutes. This way, the ECU learns the new parameters. This procedure resolves gear fluctuations, slipping, or errors after a service.
