How to Perform the Instrument Cluster Diagnostic Test on a Nissan Micra K12

Here’s how to access the self-diagnostic mode of the instrument cluster on a Micra K12. Turn on the ignition, press and hold the odometer button ("ODO" on the dashboard) for about 5 seconds. The cluster will enter "test" mode and display a sequence of LEDs or screens. Navigate through the menu using the same button: press briefly to scroll through the options, hold to select or exit. Look for the "error codes" menu, read the error codes, and interpret them using a table found in the original video. If the procedure doesn’t work, try holding down the "mode" or "reset" button (depending on the dashboard configuration).
