How to Reset the Service Light on a Nissan Townstar

Model: Nissan Townstar MK 1 - Years 2024-2026

The Nissan Townstar is a commercial vehicle (derived from the Renault Kangoo / Mercedes Citan) launched in 2021/2022. To reset the service light, turn on the ignition and press the TRIP button on the steering wheel to the right of the display. Hold it until you see the message "Service" or "Oil" or "Maintenance" appear on the display. Keep holding the same button for about 10-15 seconds. A message like "Reset" or "Reset OK" should appear. Release the button when the light goes off, then turn off the ignition and turn it back on to check that the light has disappeared. On the Townstar, the controls vary depending on the trim (Basic Version vs. Pro Version). Check: On the steering wheel (to the right): TRIP button. On the dashboard (to the left of the display): TRIP button. On the wiper stalk (as on some Renaults): a button on the wiper control.
