How to Reset the Engine Oil (Service) Light on the Nissan Note

Today's instructions will show you how to reset the engine oil (service) light on the Nissan Note. First, get inside the vehicle and turn on the ignition; then press and hold the service reset button located at the bottom right for about ten seconds, as illustrated in the video. At this point, you will see that the service mileage counter will reset to the mileage remaining before the next service, clearing the old counter; turn off the ignition and start the engine, completing the reset operation.
