Unlocking the Boot Release from Inside the Nissan Note

Model: Nissan Note E11, MK 1 - Years 2004-2013

When the rear boot of the Nissan Note gets stuck and cannot be opened from the outside, you can unlock the release mechanism from inside the car. Start by removing the plastic panel of the rear tailgate. Using a small plastic pry tool, unclip the various clips holding it in place (as shown in the video). At this point, locate the boot lock and remove the protective cover by acting on the fastening clip at the bottom right. Once done, identify the mechanism for opening the boot (as seen in the images, it is located on the lock facing into the cabin) and move the corresponding lever downwards (as indicated in the video), thus opening the boot.
