Replacing the Gear Knob on Nissan Micra

Want to remove the gear knob from the Nissan Micra? Here’s how to replace the knob from above the centre tunnel. Hold the knob in your hands and twist it left and right until it comes off the gear stick. Use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame (if damaged). Fit the new leather gaiter with the clips (if removed), then take the new knob and push it onto the stick on the centre tunnel until fully secured. Test the movement of the stick on the centre tunnel to ensure the knob is correctly fitted. Install a knob of the same size.
