How to Check Brake Fluid Level

For the braking system of a car to function correctly, there must be enough fluid in the system. The following guide shows you how to check the brake fluid. This operation should be carried out with the vehicle stationary and the engine cold, with the bonnet open. Locate the brake master cylinder; above it, there is a small reservoir where you can check the fluid level, which should be between the minimum and maximum lines for it to be adequate. If necessary, add brake fluid to this reservoir carefully, avoiding any spillage due to its corrosive nature.
