How to Reset the Trip Meter on a Nissan Qashqai?

To reset the trip meter on a Nissan Qashqai, first turn on the instrument cluster using the ignition key. Once the cluster is on, locate the TRIP RESET button at the lower left of the dashboard relative to the steering column. Press and hold this button for a few seconds until the trip meter resets; after the reset, release the button and then turn off the instrument cluster.
