How to Replace Your Car's Suspension Arm

The suspension arm of the car ensures the connection between the chassis and the struts, but it can become deformed after an impact. In that case, it will need to be replaced to avoid losing control of the vehicle. This is not a very complicated job and can be done alone without necessarily needing a mechanic's help. This guide shows how to change the suspension arm. Lift the car with a jack. Then, disconnect the stabiliser link from the arm without making any sudden movements. You will need two spanners to remove the link without the risk of breaking it. Once the joint is removed, the suspension arm will be in front of you, secured with bolts. Once extracted, take it to an authorised dealer who can advise you on the correct replacement part to purchase.
