How to Replace the Rear Brake Pads with Electric Brake on a Nissan Qashqai

To replace the rear brake pads on a Nissan Qashqai J11, you will need: a jack, axle stands, protective gloves, suitable removal tools, and new brake pads. First, lift the car using the jack, and for safety, also insert the axle stands. Using a pair of pliers, remove the bolt covers, then use a telescopic spanner to remove the locking screws, and finally, you can take off the wheel. Now, proceed to remove the brake caliper. To do this, you need to unscrew the screws you removed earlier, take off the metal bar next to the brake pad, and using a large screwdriver as leverage, remove the caliper from above the brake disc. At this point, you can unscrew the pads to start the installation of the new ones. First, position the pads inside the brake caliper, place the caliper over the disc, and screw in the locking screws. Now you can refit the wheel and check the operation of the brakes.
