Changing the cabin air filter in your car is a straightforward task; just follow the simple steps outlined in this guide. This way, you can periodically carry out this operation yourself, saving money on mechanic fees. The first step is to remove the dashboard trim. Be careful, as in addition to screws to unscrew, the trim is also secured with clips along its length and at the sides. Carefully remove the trim while being mindful of the cigarette lighter connection. Pull the filter towards you in the same direction it is installed. The rest is straightforward; position the new air filter and reverse the procedure just described.
