In this tutorial, we can see how to disassemble the cigarette lighter socket in the Nissan Micra, an extremely simple and quick operation. First, we open the hood, then disconnect the negative terminal of the battery in order to work safely. Next, we go inside the car, pry along the perimeter of the socket with a flat-tipped screwdriver, or with a preferably plastic spatula, and remove the socket from its support. At this point, we can disconnect the power connector, connect the replacement, and secure it by pressing it firmly.
