All you need are: a compatible button battery, a small flathead screwdriver, and a few free minutes. First, take the car remote and pull out the physical emergency key by sliding it outward. Be careful not to damage it. Next, remove the rear cover of the remote and replace the dead battery with the new one. Finally, reattach the cover, and you're done.
