If the remote that opens and closes the doors of the Nissan Qashqai J11 no longer works, it may be due to a depleted battery. To replace it, turn the remote over, press the button in the centre to unlock the emergency key, and use a small screwdriver to pry along the edge to separate the two halves.

In the rear half, you will find the battery compartment; remove it using the screwdriver and replace it with a new CR2032, ensuring it is inserted the correct way. Reassemble the two halves, press until they click together, and insert the key.
