Removing the Gear Knob from the Gear Lever

Customising your vehicle has always been a point of pride for every motorist; here’s one possibility. Gently remove the gaiter covering the gear lever using a plastic tool to pry on the side trim located on the tunnel. The knob is simply force-fitted, so to extract it, lift the lever on the gear stick, grip the knob firmly, and move it sideways in both directions while simultaneously pulling upwards with force until it comes off the lever. Fit the new knob by pressing it onto the gear stick until it is positioned correctly.
