In this video, see how to change the rear light on the Opel Corsa D. First, open the boot and remove the side cover from the boot on the side where you need to change the light unit. In this case, it is the right side, so remove the fire extinguisher, then you have ample space to reach in and disconnect the electrical connector.

Unscrew the two retaining screws that hold the light, and from the outside, pull it towards you to remove it. Take the bulb holder from the old light and place it onto the new light unit. You can find it on eBay with the code 253958722833 for £45.12, including delivery.

Now, refit it in place, aligning the holes on the bodywork with the pins on the light unit. Now you can close the retaining screws and reconnect the electrical connector.

Refit the fire extinguisher and close the boot: job done.
