Let's discover the necessary steps on how to disassemble and replace the battery of the key remote of the Opel and Vauxhall Astra, as well as the Insignia. First, take our remote and start removing the plastic back cover by levering on the sides; then remove the battery inside, as shown in the video. At this point, install the new battery, of the right type and with the same code (in this case a CR 2032 3V); insert it in the correct direction and reassemble the plastic cover to complete the replacement job.
