How to replace the rear shock absorbers of the Opel Corsa D

In this video we can see how to change the rear shock absorbers of the Opel Corsa version D: we need to lift the rear part of the car and remove the wheels, which will allow us to see the rear shock absorber. We will need to remove the rear wheel arch protection plate; to remove the shock absorber we will need an 18 socket wrench and a Torx to unlock the lower screw; using an extension, also 18, we remove the screws from the top; now we can remove the shock absorber. Now we assemble the new one on the workbench, mounting the protective boot on the foam cushion and then mounting it on the rod, which we will grease at the top: we will then mount the support against which we will insert the foam cushion. Secure it with the nut and tighten it. The shock absorber is now ready to be mounted, but first we need to grease the fixing screws well. We start from the top and then fix the lower one with the inner screw and then the two support screws. Reassemble the wheel arch protection, reassemble the wheels and lower the car. Job done.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
