In this tutorial, see how to replace the front shock absorbers on an Opel Corsa. First, lift the front of the vehicle, taking the necessary safety precautions. Then, remove the wheel on the side you will be working on. Next, disconnect the anti-roll bar joint, unclip the brake line from its support, and undo the lower mounting bolt of the shock absorber. Access the upper mounting bolts by temporarily removing the plastic panel at the base of the windscreen wipers. To fit the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
