How to Replace the Front Shock Absorbers on an Opel Corsa D

In this video tutorial, you will see how to replace the front shock absorbers on an Opel Corsa D by following some simple steps. First, get into the vehicle, turn off the engine, and pull the handbrake. Open the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Loosen the bolts on the front wheels, then lift the front of the vehicle with a hydraulic jack and place safety stands underneath. Once the front of the car is raised, fully unscrew the wheel bolts and remove the wheels (place the wheels under the vehicle). To remove the front shock absorbers, take off the windscreen frame, then remove the covers from the wiper arm nuts and unscrew the nuts with a 13mm spanner. Remove the wiper arm with small up-and-down movements. Take off the frame seal, then remove the plastic cover and disconnect the windscreen washer pipe. Now, unlock and remove the upper ball joint of the stabiliser bar (use a 17mm spanner and a 17mm socket). Disconnect the ABS sensor cable from the shock absorber. Use an 18mm spanner and an 18mm socket to unscrew the bolts securing the shock absorber. Remove the brake hose from its bracket and detach the shock absorber. (Continue watching the video).
