Replacement of the external rearview mirrors of the Opel Astra J

The external rearview mirrors of the Opel Astra are subject to impacts and consequently to breakage due to their position: in this eventuality we see how to proceed for the replacement. Let's position ourselves in front of the mirror to be replaced, insert a thin tool between the edge of the mirror and that of the rearview mirror and open the clips that hold the mirror in place and slide it out. Disconnect the electrical contacts, take the new mirror and mount the two copper contacts, insert the two connectors. Insert the new mirror into the housing by aligning the copper contacts and the fixing tabs, press to lock everything in place.
