First of all, get in the car and for safety reasons make sure it is completely turned off. Then grab the mirror and push it towards the windshield until it comes off completely. At this point, the procedure is successfully completed and you can replace the old mirror with a new one as long as it is perfectly compatible with your Opel Astra G.
