How to change the fuel filter on the Opel Corsa D 1.3 CDTi

In this video we can see how to change the diesel filter in an Opel Corsa D: we open the hood and see the filter located in the upper left part; we have to remove the electrical connector at the base of the filter, then we have to remove the filter from the bracket that holds it to the frame using an extension; then with a flathead screwdriver, we remove the tubes that carry the fuel to the filter, and put the filter in a large basin and recover the water presence sensor and remove the locking tabs that are still on the filter. We put the new gasket on the new filter, the water presence sensor that we recovered from the old filter, and the locking tabs. Now we can install the new filter, connecting the fuel tubes and then we put the mounting bracket back in place, and finally reconnect the electrical connector under the filter. Operation completed.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
