Want to replace the gear knob on an Opel Corsa? Follow these steps. Use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame (remove any power connectors).

Pull the knob off with your hands, rotating it left and right until it comes off the gear lever (cut any tie wrap if present). For installation: tighten the new knob fully onto the gear lever; fit the new leather gaiter with the clips (frame).

Finally, test the movement of the lever in the centre console to ensure the knob is correctly fitted.
