How to Reset the Service Light on a 2021 Opel Vivaro

To reset the service light on the 2021 Opel Vivaro, turn on the ignition and press the button with the spanner symbol located below the display. Keep the button pressed for a few seconds, and the maintenance reset settings will appear on the display. Release the button and press it a second time to start the reset procedure, after which you will need to restart the instrument cluster. Once the reset is complete, you will have updated the mileage for the next service and oil change. This operation is essential at the end of the service to register the new data with the control unit, so it is very important never to perform this procedure unless the service has been completed. Otherwise, the control unit may record incorrect values, and once the service is performed, the oil pressure sensors may not function correctly, requiring a diagnosis or sensor replacement.
