The instructions in this guide will show you how to perform routine maintenance by replacing the engine oil and oil filter on the Opel Calibra. First, raise the vehicle and begin removing the lower engine cover to access the drain bolt located on the oil sump; unscrew the bolt and let the oil drain into a container for about ten minutes. At this point, use the appropriate tool to unscrew the oil filter, replacing the cartridge with a new one (screw it in by hand and tighten gently); finally, top up with new engine oil!
