How to Replace the Front Brake Pads on an Opel Astra

How to replace the front brake pads on an Opel Astra. First, lift the car using a column jack to the desired height, then remove the wheel (using a socket wrench or air drill) with the respective bolts. Unscrew the locking bolt of the brake caliper, and remove it from the wheel hub. Use a screwdriver to detach the pads from the wheel hub caliper, remove the brake caliper, and then the disc (if it needs replacing). Install the new pads in the brake caliper. Tighten all the bolts and refit the wheel. Proceed to carry out the same operations on the other calipers present on the vehicle.
