How to Replace the Remote Battery for an Opel Mokka B

To replace the battery in an Opel Mokka B remote, extract the metal emergency key: look for the small release button on the side of the remote, press it, and slide out the blade. At this point, using a flathead screwdriver (or a plastic tool), pry in the gap along the edge of the remote to separate the two halves of the shell. Proceed carefully to avoid damaging the plastic clips. Once opened, you will find the button battery, which is a CR2032 (the most common for these remotes). Carefully remove the old battery, paying attention to the orientation: the positive (+) side must face upwards. Insert the new battery, close the remote by pressing firmly until you hear the snap of closure. Reinsert the emergency key and check the operation by pressing the buttons.
