How to Replace the Front Headlight on an Opel Corsa
Model: Vauxhall Corsa
Corsa D
- Years 2006-2014
How do you replace the front headlight on an Opel Corsa? Let's see how to proceed with the disassembly in the video tutorial. Open the bonnet by pulling the bonnet release lever and secure it. Using a battery-powered screwdriver, unscrew the fastening pins located at the top of the bumper. Once the screws at the top are removed, unscrew the pins from the wheel arch liners and finally remove the pins at the bottom of the bumper. Detach the bumper from the vehicle body. Disconnect the headlights from the vehicle body and the bulb holders from the headlight. Install the new headlight with new bulbs if damaged (always ensure the type and size are correct) and insert the headlight into its housing. Finally, reattach the front bumper and tighten the pins.

Use a socket spanner to unscrew the securing screws of the metal cap (located on the metal panel), then remove it from its seat. Use absorbent paper around the perimeter to soak up any liquid leaks. Unscrew the large securing bolt of the fuel pump (if present on the model), disconnect the power connectors and the liquid circulation pipes. Extract the floating fuel pump from its seat along with any attached parts. Finally, refit a new piece. by ScegliAuto More videos
