Throttle Body Cleaning Instructions

Model: Vauxhall Corsa Corsa D - Years 2006-2014

The throttle body is located at the rear of the engine in a central position: to clean it as shown in the video, you do not need to remove it, but simply disconnect the intake hose connected to it (to facilitate this operation, it is suggested to also disconnect the other end of the hose connected to the air filter housing).
Once the hose is disconnected, start the engine and spray the appropriate cleaning spray inside the throttle body while revving the engine to help the spray enter the throttle body itself. Ideally, you should remove the throttle body to prevent any residual deposits from entering the engine: assess the state of any deposits before deciding whether to clean it as described.
