Removing the Door Panel on an Astra

Want to remove the door panel to take out the mirror? Here’s how to remove the cover panel on an Astra. Remove the plastic in the space for the upper door release lever and the screws in the internal handle (remove the handle cover). Unscrew all the screws on the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Remove the cover panel after releasing the retaining clips (disconnect the power connectors). Remove the external mirror (unscrew the retaining screws). After maintenance, simply refit the panel.
