Manual Gearbox Oil Replacement on Opel Zafira B

Model: Vauxhall Zafira Zafira B, A05, MK 2 - Years 2005-2011

Open the bonnet and place the support rod in position. First, remove the battery by unscrewing the two terminals and the securing bolt. Next, remove the battery support by taking off the bracket on the left side (see video) and the three bolts securing it (using a 13 mm spanner). You have now reached the gearbox fill hole: loosen the bolt that acts as a cap with an 8 mm spanner. Move to the underside of the vehicle and unscrew the 10 mm bolt that seals the drain hole to collect the used oil. Refit the cap and pour in the new lubricant through the upper hole, then reassemble everything.
