Vauxhall Vectra - Video tutorial

Model: Vauxhall Vectra MK 2, Vectra B - Years 1995-2002
Part: Instrument cluster
Operation: Disassembly of the instrument panel to replace the bulb

Removing the entire instrument panel is neither quick nor easy. In order not to damage plastic parts during the removal and assembly operation, place a rag or something similar on the steering column. Remove the various plastic covers until you reach the base of the panel, which hides the three fixing screws. Remove the three screws and, very carefully, slide the entire instrument panel outwards, paying attention to the various connection connectors on the rear. Remove all connectors very carefully to avoid tearing any wires. Replace the faulty bulb and refit the instrument panel by proceeding in reverse order. Check for perfect functioning.

At this point, always keeping the accelerator pressed, press the brake pedal 5 consecutive times and, with the pedals in position, turn off the ignition. We check that the procedure has been successful by starting the vehicle.
