Replacing the front brake pads on the Opel Corsa

Model: Vauxhall Corsa Corsa D - Years 2006-2014
Part: Brake pads

Loosen the bolts of the affected front wheel, jack up the car and unscrew them completely, removing the wheel. Unscrew the rear nuts that keep the caliper anchored to the brake disc, as shown in the video. At this point you can easily extract the pads from their seats and widen the pistons in which they are to be inserted: this is because the new pads will obviously be much thicker than those removed. Insert the new tablets and fix everything by proceeding backwards. Refit the wheel that was initially removed and repeat the operation on the other front side. As you can see, this is not a complex operation.

How to deactivate the safe lock on a Volkswagen Golf.

The safe lock is indeed an anti-theft system that prevents thieves from accessing the car. This device locks the doors, both externally and internally, when the driver activates the central locking remote control after leaving the vehicle. To permanently disable it, it is necessary to use a diagnostic program such as VCDS that we will connect to the vehicle through the ODBII port. Then wait for the connection and recognition of the control unit and then select the blocks present and locate the safe lock to disable it. And the job will be completed.
